Monster Under The Bed for Maya with 3Delight

This Scene file is a recreation of Blender Cycles demo scene Monster Under The Bed in Autodesk Maya and 3Delight renderer.

This project is a great resource for anyone wanting to learn 3Delight in Maya and how to use SSS (i.e. Subsurface Scattering) and how texturing works with 3Delight. Also the scene exhibits lots of lights with light filters. So gives you a reference on how to use those light filters.

The scene also works as a bench mark for your CPU render speed compared to Blender Cycles CPU and GPU renderer.

3Delight is a CPU based renderer that is ultra fast and produces superior result with speeds that are on par with GPU renders without the need for any denoising. The render settings are optimised for speed while retaining the most amount of details. The final rendered image does not use any Denoising.
